What size print should go above a desk?
Aim for about two-thirds of the desk width, hung 15–20 cm above the desk. Above a 120 cm desk, that means a print around 80 cm wide: a 50 × 76 cm (20 × 30 in) print in landscape, or a 60 × 90 cm (24 × 36 in) print for more presence. For a narrow wall beside the desk, choose a portrait print in 40 × 60 cm (16 × 24 in) or 50 × 76 cm.
Framed or unframed for a home office?
Both work. Framed prints arrive ready to hang in solid oak, walnut, black or white wood; oak and white suit pale desks and light rooms, walnut and black stand out against a white wall. Unframed is the better choice if you already own a frame or want to change it later. Any print can be ordered with a white border, which looks like a mount once framed.
